I start off with a pencil sketch. I proceed to ink and color on CS4 using my WACOM Pen tablet. The background should match the sport. In this, I chose the rails. I created a mood setting through the blue hues in the background with the use of lighting. I used a multiplied by foreground figure and used motion blur to emphasize the sports aspect of the skateboarder coming down the rail.
